About 98 km from Coimbatore, which has the nearest airport.

Railway
Ooty is on the narrow gauge railway, connected to Mettupalayam (47 km), which is directly connected to Coimbatore(98 Km)and Chennai(539 Km). The famous toy train connects Ooty with Mettupalayam and Coonoor(17 Km).

Road
A good network of roads and national highways connect Ooty with all major towns and cities. There are regular bus services to and from Coimbatore(98 Km), Trichy (302 Km), Bangalore (290 Km), Madurai (325 Km), Kanyakumari (587 Km), Mysore (155 Km), Palghat (145 Km), Calicut(125 Km), Tirupati (362 Km)and other important destinations in South India. Ooty is also well connected with major cities of Kerala and Karnataka.

Local Transport
Taxis, tourist cabs, auto rickshaws are available in plenty. There are no standard rates except tourist cabs. Town buses are also available to all important places. Conducted sight seeing tours are arranged by the private operators and the Government Tourism Development Corporation.

The Resort has a Permit room, Conference hall, Secretarial services, library, home-theatre, restaurant, laundry, health club, and a terrace garden overlooking the valley. There is a lift to take you up and down from the cottages to the lounge. Three dimensional view without any obstruction up to several kilometers is a unique feature that no other hotel around can boast of. Restaurant
At Sagar we take food very seriously, and you can enjoy a three Course Dinner in the Restaurant with the best of local and home grown produce. The menu changes daily with the emphasis on the best of cooking, enhanced with Continental and Oriental influences. A selection of fine wines is available to make your satisfaction complete. A vegetarian specialties is always on the menu, and individual diets or something for that special occasion can be accommodated.

A separate dining room is available for private parties, where you can wine and dine in an even more intimate setting.
